D-Tier:Common, Uncommon

Tier List Video Breakdown

This ranked breakdown follows Pro Game Guides' combat evaluation and Roblofix's AURA TIER LIST video, which orders auras from D to S and praises Titan's Awakening's end-game attack animation. Watch the ranking first, then compare every entry in our All Auras list.

How Combat Tiers Work

Aura rarity does not raise damage in Unscathed. Every skill follows the same model: Normal skills deal 0.33x damage with 100 percent accuracy, while Critical skills deal 1x damage with 70 percent accuracy and cost the same 15 PP. A cheap Flame can out-fight a far rarer aura because of this flat system. Read our Luck Guide for drop advice.

Auras without skills can only use Punch at 0.17x damage, which is why Common and Uncommon rank at the bottom. Element typing still matters for luck boosts, so check whether your aura matches the active biome before rolling. Our All Auras page lists every element.

Combat Tier List

Each row shows the tier, in-game rarity, drop odds, sell EXP, and the skills behind the ranking. Tiers judge fighting power only, so Brushed and Nunchucks sit in C despite being Common, while Flame tops S as an Uncommon. Pair this with our Titan's Awakening article.

Remember that rarity never upgrades damage multipliers. A Nocturnal and a Flame both use the standard Normal 0.33x and Critical 1x kit, so your choice comes down to element synergy and what you own. Beginner players should aim for Flame first; see the Beginner Guide.

💡 Tiers rank combat strength only, not drop value. Rarity never changes the damage model, so judge every aura by its skill kit and element first.

How to Use the Tier List

Start by equipping the highest-tier aura you own, because the tier list assumes you fight with the best kit available. If you have Flame, use it everywhere; if you only have Brushed, focus on landing Polished Strike at close range. The Beginner Guide covers the full loop.

Sell safe duplicates to fund progression: Common grants 45 EXP, Uncommon 55, Brushed 90, Nunchucks 100, Flame 200, Nocturnal 1,025, and Pyrestorm 3,135. Keep at least one copy of every aura for crafting and element coverage. Our All Auras list tracks each rarity.

Revisit the tier list after every update, because new auras and balance changes shift the meta. Update 1 introduced gliders and fresh auras, so re-evaluate your loadout after patches. Follow the Update 1 notes and our Next Update tracker to stay current.

1

Equip your best tier

Open the inventory and equip the highest-tier aura you own. Flame beats everything else you can realistically roll early, so keep it on for all PvE and PvP content.

2

Learn the skill rotation

Spend Normal skills first because they always hit at 100 percent accuracy, then use Critical skills when the enemy is close enough to make the 70 percent hit rate safe.

3

Sell safe duplicates

Sell duplicate auras you never equip to farm EXP and currency, but keep one copy of each for crafting recipes and element coverage.

4

Match the biome

Fight in a biome that matches your aura's element for the +35% luck bonus, and stack Gems, potions, and traits for even better rolls.

5

Re-rank after patches

Check the tier list again after each update because new auras and buffs can push lower tiers up and shift the best loadout.

⚠️ The tier list reflects combat power only, not collection prestige. A D-Tier Common still sells for 45 EXP, so never discard duplicates carelessly.

Tier Highlights

Flame is the single best early aura because it is the first roll with both a Normal and a Critical skill. Ember Slash and Inferno Burst give you a complete combat kit at Uncommon rarity, making it the default pick for story progression and PvP alike. See our All Auras guide.

Pyrestorm ranks B because its kit is complete but its value per roll is worse than Flame's. Nocturnal ranks A as the strongest Night aura, rivaling Soulbound's Spirit Reckoning. The Luminara article covers the Limited Light aura separately, including when to roll.

S-Tier Flame

Uncommon Fire aura with a full Normal and Critical kit. The best early combat aura and the tier list's top pick.

A-Tier Nocturnal

Rare Night aura rivaling Soulbound. Night Fang and Midnight Eclipse make it the strongest Night-type option.

B-Tier Pyrestorm

Epic Fire aura with a complete kit, but weaker value per roll than Flame in most early game fights.

C-Tier Brushed & Nunchucks

Common Basic auras with Normal-only kits. Nunchucks stacks also feed Chainmail crafting.

D-Tier Punch Only

Common and Uncommon auras without skills fight at 0.17x with Punch alone. Sell them for EXP.

💡 Nunchucks has hidden value: its stacks are used in Chainmail crafting, so keep copies instead of selling all of them.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best aura in Unscathed RNG?

For combat, Flame is the best early aura because it is the first with both Normal and Critical skills. For prestige, Titan's Awakening at 1 in 1,000,000 is the rarest.

Does rarity affect aura damage in Unscathed?

No. Every aura uses the same model: Normal skills deal 0.33x with 100 percent accuracy, Critical skills deal 1x with 70 percent accuracy. Rarity only affects drop odds.

How do I get Flame in Unscathed?

Flame drops from rolling at 1 in 1,300 odds as an Uncommon Fire aura. Boost your chances with the Luck Guide methods: Blacksmith upgrades and luck potions.

Is Pyrestorm better than Flame?

What is the rarest aura on the tier list?

Titan's Awakening at 1 in 1,000,000 is the rarest confirmed aura, though it is not ranked S for combat. See our Titan's Awakening article for details.
